There was plenty of speculation about Skriniar's next club in the summer, and FIFA 23 Coins Paris Saint Germain looking the most likely to lure the Slovakian player to join the French League. The move, however, never materialized, and now Skriniar is fighting to reclaim the top spot for the club.

"Wins To Watch" refers to if the player's team wins three matches in their next eight domestic games (starting October 30) and they are awarded an additional one-time stat boost comparable to an in-form. In other words, if Man City win 3/8 games, Haaland gets another +1 over and above in-form updates He receives. (Lol 'if'.)

Nations to Watch means that anyone with an Ones to Watch card whose country is involved in the World Cup will receive a one-off in-form upgrade if their team wins a game during the tournament. Tough times for Erling on this issue, it seems because Norway is not participating. ('Tough times for Erling' is not something we expect to write on many other occasions this year/decade/millennium.)

Additionally, Nations to Watch players don't even have to be selected by their country's team to receive the upgrade, so if Gabriel Jesus somehow doesn't make the Brazil squad and his countrymen pick up an upset in Qatar as well, the Arsenal hitman will still get an additional +1.

Also, it's important to mention this: Ones to Watch players do not receive upgrades on the basis of other promo cards. If Tyler Adams gets some sort of wild 90+ card in April in an upcoming promotion called Factsmashers or whatever it is, his OTW is not upgraded as a result. (Sorry Tyler. If it makes you feel better, then you're in literally everyone's pre-order OTW package.)

The strange transfer market behaviors meant it was often practical and economical to bring in good promo players to your team even within a couple of days after they came out. That may yet prove to be the case with FIFA 23, but currently, the best Ones to Watch players are going to cost you an enormous cost. As they've received no upgrades at all and are not receiving any upgrades, it's hard to suggest spending coins for them.

On the cheaper end of the scale Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund is priced at around 14k coins that's only 4k more than his discard price. Schlotterbeck is a decent start centre-back, although he doesn't possess the sought-after 'Lengthy' running type, and buying FIFA 23 Coins despite Dortmund's stuttering form it is easy to imagine him securing an upgrade to the Wins to Watch upgrade in the coming weeks.
