When it comes to jewellery, necklaces are my personal favourite. The nicest part about necklaces is the wide range of designs available. Every woman can find something to her liking. Several varieties of necklaces are available, such as those made of costume jewellery, beads, chokers, braids, metals such as bronze, gold, and silver, and pendants. Although I can think of many other categories of necklaces, there are simply too many for this list to be exhaustive. In addition to their versatility, necklaces are another one of my favourite accessories.

This season I have become obsessed with layered necklace to make unique and interesting necklace combinations. When the individual necklaces in a layered set complement the rest of the ensemble, the effect is stunning. The top celebs in Hollywood all seem to be following this trend. Layering necklaces well requires utilising a variety of necklace types. Layering necklaces that are all the same or very similar will not create an attractive or eye-catching look. Try to find a few necklaces in varying lengths. To provide variety, swap out your pendants for beaded necklaces and vice versa. You also need not be concerned about combining different metals. Contrary to popular belief, mixing precious metals like gold and sterling silver is not only acceptable but encouraged by the current style.

You needn't fret if your necklaces are making you look ponderous. As a rule, the more you wear, the better off you will be. Don't go crazy with it though. Your best chance is to wear between three and six necklaces. Choose fewer necklaces instead of a larger number of necklaces if each necklace adds too much heft on its own. If they are already delicate and slender, go ahead and add more! You should experiment with varying the shapes, sizes, colours, and lengths. If you stick to these guidelines, you're guaranteed to seem chic and formidable.

My experience has shown me that layering necklaces can look great but can also lead to frustrating tangles. Several of my longer, more delicate necklaces have a habit of tangling with each other as they sway. Layering might cause problems, so take care not to snag delicate necklaces. In keeping with the spirit of the moment, experiment freely with the jewellery you currently own to come up with fresh new looks.

Hot Trends in Sterling Silver Necklace

Keeping up with the latest fashions is essential if you want to look your best (and what woman doesn't?). Take a look at this sample.

Many people still haven't had their fill of bling, despite the fact that this craze began in late 2009. A noticeable fashion trend right now are massive sterling silver necklaces. Pendants made of natural stones and ceramic beads are in. It's easy to dress up or down with these patterns. Be cautious with wearing too many accessories at once.

When did pearl necklaces ever go out of style? A pearl necklace is a safe bet in any situation. You may have a string of pearls all the same colour, or you could have a string of pearls all different colours. Workwear doesn't get much better than this. Of course, if you like, you may pair them with tees and jeans for a night on the town.

Necklaces with multiple tiers are currently trendy, and the addition of silver to the mix gives the look an air of refined glamour perfect for an evening out.

As for pendants, they are still very much in style, albeit more dramatic designs have surpassed them this season. Pendants with cultural or spiritual influences are very popular right now. One example is the silver jewellery that was worn by the Celts and the Goths. Wearing tiny pendants can help you look the part at any formal event. When dressing casually or semi-casually, a large pendant is an excellent choice.

Designer-inspired: Silver necklaces that evoke famous designers have always been popular. These accessories have a high-end appearance and can instantly upgrade any ensemble.

You would be erroneous to assume that guys can't wear necklaces made of sterling silver. Stunning new styles in the unisex category are appearing all the time. Pendants for men come in a variety of eye-catching designs, such as those with teeth, silver bullets, the Greek Cross, and more.

Silver necklaces are a great way to add colour and style to any ensemble. When worn at the neck or chest, these accessories draw the eye and help strike a visual balance. They assist "raise" the style from average to extraordinary.

Yet, following fashion alone isn't a sufficient criterion when selecting a sterling silver necklace. Invest in an outfit that complements your features, figure, and hairstyle.
