Customers that have an Azure subscription get access to all of the services offered through the Azure site. These services allow subscribers to build cloud-based resources like databases and virtual machines (VMs).

Several outside suppliers also directly offer software through Azure and the services that Microsoft provides through the Azure platform. Although the price charged for third-party applications varies greatly, it is possible to pay both a subscription fee and a usage fee for the infrastructure that hosts the application.

Microsoft provides five different customer support options for Azure:

  • Basic
  • Developer
  • Standard
  • Professional Direct
  • Premier

The scope and cost of these customer assistance programs vary. All Azure accounts have access to basic help, but Microsoft charges extra for its other support services. While Standard support is $100 per month, Professional Direct support is $1000 per month, and Developer support is only $29 per month. Microsoft withholds information about the cost of Premier support.

Businesses will need to adjust if they want to survive as more and more operations shift to the cloud. Utilizing Microsoft's expertise and the Azure cloud computing platform, you can support your business in thriving in the cloud.
