"We realized in recent years we have been turning to other systems that can fill the void that removing that one talent point for every level left," Hazzikostas said. "Things like Artifact Power, the Heart of Azeroth and so on. We really wanted to explore the fundamental elements of the player's character and their customization. The release of WoTLK Classic Gold a few years back also offered a different review of the ways in which systems like which are played out in the contemporary world. Many of the strengths remain. A lot of the customization or granularity still there. However, I believe we've also found that today's players, regardless of what game they are playing, are seeking to improve, looking to find solutions using data specifically for specific scenarios. They would like the flexibility to change between specs. The system we are creating in Dragonflight I really see as the most ideal of all options. It's a return to the customization and richness and complexity of the Talent Tree system that we used previously and addressing some of the issues we've come across."

Alongside an overhaul of the class talent pool The entire WoW user interface will be getting a major update at first since it's release nearly two decades ago. an overhaul that aims to be highly customizable and made with modern display technology in mind. Blizzard doesn't want players to feel as though they must resort to player made add-ons to have a UI which is suitable for them, though that will still be an option for players who desire it.

"We want to make sure whether you're a brand new player who's settling down to play World of Warcraft for the first time, that you are getting an experience that appears and feels rooted into World of Warcraft traditions but modern and crisp, and not looking like something that was inspired by the old-school, heavy- World of Warcraft and Blizzard GUIs of the 20 or so years ago," Hazzikostas said.

The professions will also have major changes after the introduction of Dragonflight. They've been an integral component of cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold from the game's launch back in 2004. and in Hazzikostas's mind it was possible that they seen their peak at the same time in the days when players could be recognized on their server as an expert blacksmith, or an enchanter who could have all the most effective recipes.
